Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a Head Teacher in a village school within The New Forest. We are dedicated to providing exceptional education and fostering a nurturing environment for all students. Therefore, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Teacher to lead this lovely school.
As a Head Teacher, you will:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the school.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Manage and support teaching staff, ensuring professional development and high standards of teaching.
- Engage with parents, students, and the wider community to promote the school's values and achievements.
- Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the school's performance and implement improvement plans.
About you:
- Holds a Headship qualification
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
- Possess strong understanding of the curriculum development and educational best practices.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Have the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
- Show commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
- Holds NPQH- ESSENTIAL
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).- ESSENTIAL
- Has experience in school leadership roles- ESSENTIAL

- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
